What I like about the show it the honesty.
All of us hacks out here working alone in our garage look at the cars in the magazines like Big Red and think how easy it must be with all that help to engineer and construct a great car. Then you watch the show, and a Transmission breaks - twice, then you see an engine dyno resulting in less than ideal results.

There is some comfort that even with high level cars like Big Red, problems still kick you in the ass and all you can do is work through it without drama just like we do.

I’m not even a Camaro fan and I’ve been a fan of Big Red from the beginning because to me it represents an amazingly well built, and hard driven hot rod. Even better that it was built in the 80’s and brought out of mothballs to still kick some tail.
