I just saw this thread for the first time....awesome work! Love your dedication on working through the gremlins that we deal with in this hobby. And I know it was a few years ago, but hope your trip to The Big Isle was a blast....Saddle road had a new bypass opened a few months ago that eliminates most of the "sketchy" areas.

This was a cool thread!! My wife wants to do a camaro like this as well!

Any updates on the car? How's it running? How's the baby (I'd imagine 2 by now right?)?

Thanks Joe! This morning I looked back through this thread. We really did a lot of work on the car I certainly learned a lot! The Camaro is running fairly good other than needing the battery replaced it fires right up and is fun to drive. It does have an exhaust leak coming from the driver side header. It stinks up the cabin with exhaust fumes so we try to drive with the windows down…. I have a new set of headers to tackle some time but it will take redoing exhaust piping so I'm holding off for now. There’s also some binding in one of the steering knuckles I need to figure out. The wheel doesn’t like to stay in the center and kind of “jumps” either left or right. No real updates to post about as of now. I still have about 10 other items on the punch list to wrap up.

Our baby (Jacob) referenced earlier in the thread is now 3 ½ and is joined by his little brother Alex who’s 3 months. Time sure flies! Jacob loves riding in the Camaro. We strap his car seat in the center of the back seat and throw on some ear protection. He says “mommy’s Camaro is really fast!”.

That's awesome Ed! My 14 month old loves hearing me start up my vette. I can't wait till she's big enough to ride in it.

The 11 and 8 year old already love it!! A family full of car nuts!!!

Absolutely Todd! We start them off with an ounce of octane booster in each bottle and use bearing grease for diaper cream!
