I agree. Pretty hard to hit reverse unless you're power shifting into 5th

You can do the same thing by adding a pin and wire to the harness.

But this is easy for guys that don't have ECMs

How do you do that? Is reprogramming required for the ECM. I have an older red/blue ECM running a 5.3, and I'm going to convert to a 6 speed.
