Car is done at M2K, turbo kit finished.

Filter placement is exactly like I pictured it in my head.

And did a clearance check on driveshaft to x-pipe. Looks like it'll have to jump the car to get it contact between the two.

Built the "DSE" cribs. Did 16x16 and stacked 8. Carpet on bottom to protect my nice floors.

Sadly the paint job wasn't great to begin with. Long story that I'm trying to forget. It's got a few nicks on the way. I'll have it touched up once complete.

A full paint job I'm sure is in this cars future. I plan to beat on the car a bit first.

Great looking ride man. I have been watching this one on Instagram as well.

I may have overlooked it but how much boost and what kind of power levels you going for?

Ah excellent.

Power. We'll see what it takes but I figure on kill 20+psi and 11-1200.

Pump gas should be around 15 and 1000.

I got a little done and car is "progressing" as best it can. Decided to say screw it and get the firewall finished so some deconstruction was involved.

How the car started out. As you can see firewall above brake reservoirs is questionable...

Started the teardown and pulled the turbo kit off completely.

With the turbo kit out of the way, the core support was pulled and the motor/transmission was pulled as a single unit.

Had some expert help that day with the twins (Big Bronco and Hellraiser)

Even had a supervisor.

Fenders removed and car put back on the ground to be sent to paint shop to have firewall finished/fixed.

Painter already did all the work to the car (since last Sunday). He gave me a deadline of this upcoming Sunday 1/10 to be finished (so i figured a good month there).

New valence to replace my damaged one the first painter didn't fix.

Firewall finished

Car has mirrors mounted on it also (didn't send a pic but sent video).

Got some parts in for the car like the new latches, etc and got my RFID key setup in.

Key fob is small...

Wiring is my daunting task next. I have a new DSE dash coming and a racepak and looking at mil spec (deutsch) connector options.

Well...That was faster than expected. Painter had the car 3 days...
