Soooooo true. Hands on doesn't seem to be a priority in our school system, bummer. I tossing around, with one of my employee's, opening up a trade school. The union, which i only partially agree with, has a trade school, but limited in the trades (primarily residentual).

Good luck Blake, you'll get somebody. If i've learned anything in biz, its "quality finds quality, it just takes time"....It was nice seeing you at sema, good luck with the new ventures. I've reffered three C-10 chassis and two 2nd gen (mustang or camaro i cant remember which lol) possibilities to ya...

If your around the SF Bay Area, Deanza and Chabot colleges have great CNC machine programs and are good in some other hands on trades. My nephew is in his 2nd year of the CNC program but, lucky for him the instructor is "old school" and makes manual machine operation part of the curriculum in the AA degree. While his welding and manual machine skills might not be on par with mine his CNC and CAD skills blow me away.

So now time to get Serious.

don't let UTAH scare you off.(it is really nothing like the rumors) if you know anyone who is GOOD. Reliable and wants to build cars full time pass along the info to them.
