Thanks Andrew, spent some time on the phone with Mouser and he cross referenced a 571-968221-7 as a replacement for 968119-2 so i placed an order yesterday but considering that you've "been there and done that" i'll order the 571-2-964286-1 also and let you know of the differences.....

thx everyone for the help, really appreciate it.

I ordered the above parts and the PWM controller from the link below:

http://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-15-808...rol+Module+Kit

When I tried to insert the empty shell into the PWM controller it didn't fully engage so the locking tabs would hold the shell into the PWM controller. Does anyone have a picture of the above parts fully engaged into the PWM controller?

I'll snap some photos when i get home.

There is a cavity in the connector that must be hollowed out so that the tab on the fan controller can mate with the connector.

William,

Once you look at the parts it will be obvious what needs to be done.

I'm sure it will be, i got to look at them for about 2 minutes last night in the kitchen before rushing off to dinner. I'll look today and take some photos of the modifications.

Hey guys just a quick follow-up but I found a difference in the PWM module plug. I order 2ea of the P/N 478-9440101 and I still have the plug I got directly from ITT P/N 9440101, see the pics

There’s a restriction I circled in red that didn’t work with the PWM module, there’s a plastic piece protruding out in between the electrical connectors of the PWM module. There’s one on the other side also but there’s not a restriction on that side of the plug..See pic

If you guys have gotten this plug to work on your PWM module then maybe I got a different version off of ebay….?? By the way the small terminals ITT referenced in my quote didn’t work….as Andrew suggested earlier. Ordered the ones Andrew mentioned, should get them tomorrow.

FYI, the 478 prefix on that part number is just something that Mouser adds. It's the manufacturer code. I'm surprised that you got two different connectors with the same part number. Regardless, either will work. Don't forget to slide the release bar when inserting the terminals.

Well i was "handed" the first part by hand from the ITT representative so technically I didn't order it but their quote stated 9440101, regardless like you said you can do some minor cutting and make to other work. BTW your suggestion for the small terminal 571-2-964286-1 worked great. thanks for all the help.
