18x11's on a 67 Chevelle ????
What is the widest wheel and tire combo I can run on the rear of a 67 Chevelle. I would like to put 18x11's with a 295-35-18 or 335-30-18. Is this possible for a stock susp. car? Thanks guys for the help. Cory

not sure about the 66-67's but I know on the 70-72's you can fit an 11" w/ 315...perhaps there is hope!!
Check out the
chevelles.com forum
they will have this answer!!

An 18x10 w/295 tire is about tops for a 66-67 Chevelle/El Camino. 68-72's can handle an 11" wide wheel.

The 295-35-18 should match up well with 275-40-17's. Thanks for the info
