My car showed up last week and it was good to play with it a little after not seeing it in about 20 months. Started by bolting the trunk lid on to check figment. Not too bad but will need some metal work to fit like it should.

As I sold the engine and transmission as soon as the car got here I got to work rough cutting the area for the LS7 oil tank

And since I'm going with a different transmission the trans mount had to go as well.

Since all my fab tools aren't at work yet I started to make patterns for the fuel fill that I stole from ironworks and the diff cooler I stole from hellfire

To wrap things up on this update I bought a new toy to help build some higher quality parts with. The rest of the dies showed up after I took the picture so now I have a full rack

So I've been playing with this car a little bit after work. Nothing too exciting but I did get the fuel filler mount cut out and I think a decent setup for it. I'll weld it up tomorrow and see if I like it or not.
