Default Upholstery Quote - Houston Area

What is a reasonable price to re-upholster a rear bench seat for a '67 Camaro?

I'm in the Houston area and would like to know if anyone recommends a specific shop. I just called one and they quoted $600, with me providing the material.

I will be using Corbeau cloth to match my front seats.

Thanks in advance!

Are you recovering it with the stock pattern? or are they doing a custom pattern to match your front seats?

If it's just stock and you buy an off-the-self rear seat cover, $600 is absurd. You can do it yourself.

Edit...just reread your post.

Are you wanting the stock Camaro pattern, with just your own material? Or you want the pattern to match the front seats?

http://www.tmiproducts.com/ They can take your fabric and make you a rear seat cover. However the pattern would be stock Camaro. But for example, the insert part of the seat could be changed to your material. I'd give them a call and chat with them...it would be cheaper than $600.

Tim,

Yes, I'm looking for a stock pattern but with the Corbeau cloth.

$600 did seem outrageous so that is why I decided to ask. I'm not in the mood to just

I'll contact TMI and see what they can do.

Sorry for my late reply on this...but they can easily do that. You send them your material, and they will make the cover out of it using their patterns. Obviously it costs more that way, but should still be cheaper than $600.

There's a place called Stitches on Highway 6 and Briarforest area, just south of I-10. They've been around for a long time, there's a place also off Brittmoore called West Side. Master's is another option in SW Houston.
