Just been doing some research on tranaxles and come accross your car.I was blown away with the the detail of your project.
Iam an engineering student from Perth, Western Australia.
Iam learning solid works (2010) and was looking for some models of transaxles so I could do some design work to fit one to my 1957 Holden Panel van as a solidworks project for uni.
If you have some models of the rear end that I could go over and look at in detail to give me some ideas on how to mount that would be very helpful. Size and dementions of the transaxle.
Hopefully once I finsh uni (2 years ) I can start to build it
cheers

You have to be a member of SEMA to get the files. When you get the files from SEMA they mandate that you don't share the files. Sorry I'm of no help. But Maybe SEMA can help.

Tim,

Rodger (Ironworks) located a transaxle, transmission, and a torque tube for me early on in the build, so I could actually take measurements from the components.

There has been some recent progress. Ironworks is finishing up the front and rear control arms. Once these are done, and I borrow some shop wheels and tires (rumor has it there are some Intros available), I could put the car on the ground. Its been awhile since rubber touched the ground.

I have a couple of weddings to get through this year (Kids!).
