What is the reasoning for running a frame? If your on that tight of a budget I would suggest running a full Ridetech setup. You can do front and rear for the cost of going aftermarket subframe and still have great autocross capabilities and excellent street manners.

I can tell you that my Nova with the Protouring frame in it was very competitive with the other cars of the day, as for street driving it was awesome, rode well. turned nice.
The AFX spindle upgrade makes a difference as well. But if your not wanting to auto x or road race it the stock spindle works well also,(even if you do decide to go beat it up a bit) we have an adjustable upper control arm mount built into the PT frame, so you can still get the adjustable roll center ability even with the stock spindle. the most logical upgrade would be either the Viking Crusader double adjustable or Ridetech Single shocks.
