I put these on my '68:

For the price I thought the mounting bracket sucked, but overall liked the look of the mirror

Default Mirrors

Fit in factory holes, if you don't like them for $50 bucks throw them out. They look good on my car. Not a fan of big mirrors

I know, I actually bought the car with them installed and couldn't believe it when I saw the receipt.

These are the anvil mirrors with no good provision to install the stock brackets, the inner tabs are missing. So they will require additional fab to install them. Stielow fabbed metal inserts with threaded install points, which is my plan.

92-99 Olds 88 mirrors are a slightly modern variant to the second gen mirrors. If you shop around I'm sure you can find better pricing. Ingrabbed a new pair for $40 a while back.

Thanks, I will search his thread for pictures of the inserts b/c I'm always worried the stock mount will break.
