A few pics of the progress fitting the front end together.
It is getting closer, the hood actually opens and closes!!
Trying to find stuff to do while the crate is at the body shop.
Made brake lines for the rear end
Well I suppose I'm due for an update Just about the time I made my last post the metal work was pretty well done on the car but I was waiting for the flush mount glass from Fesler to be available. I decided to take the car back to my shop and work on getting everything done that I could while we waited.
I built the exhaust
I took some clamps and drilled 4 holes in them to allow us to tack the pipe up once we were satisfied with the fit
The only dual black set of tips I could find was this Corsa set for a late model Mustang. They're made staggered but we just had to cut a few stitch welds, cut the pipe off about a 1/2" and slide the tip back http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640...922/GGK3GH.jpg
Taylor cut these on the waterjet to hang the tailpipes.
I also got all of the brake lines and fuel line fabricated and mounted. Taylor cut these to mount them.
I got all of the suspension installed and got it back on the ground for the first time in a while (too long).
I also got around to finishing mocking up the dash
The Fesler glass showed up!!!!
The windshield fit very well
The rear window not so much, but only by the quarters and after replacing and stretching them that wasn't too surprising
PM me regarding the back glass, i've got some suggestions if you do not want to go back to metal work. I did my own flush mount kit and have some data on the rear.
Can't wait to see it done.
