I don't see why they just don't have racing in REVERSE. I mean looking over you sholder with your right arm on the seat balls to the wall racing. Now I'd pay to see that.

All I said is that he had a POS 240sx. I like the car and in fact almost bought one. Nothing wrong with it. All I'm saying is that anyone that can drive aggressively and be comfortable with it can do this. These guys get good at it with a little practice. Just like most of us, me and my buddy did this in fields just screwing around. Granted I'm sure those guys could kick my a$$ anyday if I were to get in it , but its not that hard to do what they do when you do it everyday or on regular occasion. If you heard this kid talk and the guys that followed him, yuo'd grow tired of hearing about it. He acted as if there are very few people who can do it. If you think its a sport go right ahead, theres nothing wrong with that. I just disagree plain and simple and I thik there are others who feel the same.

as far as it not being a sport.... i couldent disagree more. just because they arent going for fastest time specifically doesent mean it doesent require skill. i honestly think that the best drift drivers are some of the best drivers out there, period.

and for the record, theres nothing wrong with a 240sx. heres a pic of my buddies old car:

may not be everyones taste, but i thought it was awesome
You also couldent spell, punctuate or correctly apply capitalization to your post. The result is that it's awfully difficult to objectively read your post without pointing and laughing at the monitor.

In the form of an SAT question:

Drifting is to racing as boogie boards are to ________.

a) Llamas
b) Baseball
c) Surfing

One is a novelty used to entertain children and the other is a serious sport.

You are correct. The original thread was from last new years eve...everyone was drunk and either complaining about it or supporting it...kind of like now
