test fit the rear rims gonna be tight next week put the rear tires on going with 285 40 18 on the rear .............and the modified strut rod bracket fir the 5 speed conversion...and the clutch bell crank ..

Car looks great! I think the 285's will be fine. I just put 315's on my Rebel that is on air and didn't need to touch the inside of the wheelwell or the outside lip. Since it is lowered, I did need to cut a section out of the wheelwell that angles down and outward from the middle of the well toward the lip.

that inner fender well was on my radar also man that car is looking sweet believe it or not I was thinking about red rims also we need more pics of your Rebel
