Looking for ideas on this if anyone has made their own or found some type of kit for this feature

I have a conv and planning to use a modern rear view mirror with built in map lights.

You can use a 70 Chevelle mirror with the built in map light

Looks like stock Camaro mirror

If it's just rear view mirrors look at a new caddy ct6 ...has built in feature of rear view camera... as well

I ebay'd a 2013 Impala mirror without On Star. I ran power and gnd from my dome light I also added a body gnd. My map lights come on and off with the courtesy lights and the buttons.
