I have a Lincoln 3350 series helmet. LOVE IT! The 3350 is Lincoln's top-of-the-line helmet series, provides the best optical clarity available in a welding helmet today and the largest viewing area in its class.

I just picked up the Miller Infinity, Black Ops. Haven't used it yet, just got it last week.

Oddly enough I tonight I was skimming through the manual a bit just to familiarize myself with it. I can't wait to try it out!

X2 for the lincoln. Great helmet. The only thing I wish it had is a fan, but I wish ever helmet had a fan.

X3 and you can fit a reading lens in it if needed.

I have a Rhine helmet that works fine I think I paid less than $100 and it came with a bag. I don't do a lot of welding really, I just weld on my project car and stuff at home.

I wouldn't have a clue.....

I think I had 6 of them hanging on the various tanks of welding gas... they're all different -- and you need different ones for different tasks IMHO..... Like most tools -- you need different ones for getting in to tight places - or one that you can do dirty welding in vs the one you're going to do thin gauge stainless on the work bench... But NUMBER ONE THING YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO DO IS TO SEE THE PUDDLE. PERIOD.

Totally agree with being able to see the puddle. I've been hobby welding for decades...and I thought I was pretty good at it...until I bought a self dimming helmet. It has adjustable everything, and now I can actually see what I'm doing. Makes all the difference.
