If your gonna shave the drip rails leave the body line as some definition along the roof, if you smooth it off completely it changes the roof line proportions and makes the roof look taller. Just my .02

Jim really tried to get me to do this! It's a no go, but I believe your way is the right way. Looks nice and clean and keeps the lines.

Well it's been a long day for Jim and he's got a little further to go. Sealer applied and it's ready for color.

It's kind of a funky silver and is brighter than it appears in the photos. Photo's number 3&4 represent it a bit better than that others.
