We were originally going to be using the Tanks Inc. Fuel tank with the upgraded fuel pump, but it turns out, that it did not fit with our Detroit Speed Tubs.. We are now using a fabricated Ricks Tanks setup.
Also, We did not need to notch the frame, but then again.. We did fabricate our own A/C compressor bracket.
Hope this helps!
Hey, did the fuel tank from tank inc. fit between the spec chassis rear frame rails? wondering if ricks restomod tank would work with that frame set up...

Hi, The Tanks Inc tank was just about a inch to wide to fit.. The new RICKS Tanks does indeed fit great!

And as it arrived, The camaro is already feeling out of place next to all its foreign brothers and sisters!
...and here I was thinking "cheap import crap" like lowered hondas or toyotas, etc. until I looked through the pictures. Hahaha. I'm so glad I was wrong.
The guys didn't waste any time digging into this build!
Take a look at this sweet custom hood they are building! The head body guy, Garret Holler is taking charge and is creating a custom bulge at the front of the hood to clear the HI-Ram intake.
