After four hours of sleep I hit the road headed towards Jims place in the might F150 EcoBoost. It was a blistering 60-65 mph pace at 7.8 mpg, but after two red bulls and nearly a full can of SKOL to keep me awake, I arrived at Jims place 9.5 hours later. Jim was nice enough to back the trailer in and after looking the car over for a few we got to work. We made sure all the nuts and bolts where tight enough for the trip home, we broke the wheels out of the boxes and started bolting them on the car. I was a bit nervous every how they would look on the car due to the change from the original plan. I was pleasantly surprised once the first wheel was installed. After all four comers had rubber, we dropped the car on the ground and then....we just sat there and appreciated the view.
Jim and I ate pizza and drank Pacifico while admiring the car and then called it a night.
Today was a long day of cleaning and boxing parts. It just after 10pm and I've got any early morning ahead of me, so that's all for tonight. Besides...posting from my iPad is a real pain. I'll get the rest of the pictures up tomorrow.
