Great news Mike, glad to see it getting worked on. How far from home is it? Is it close enough so you can go peek in once in a while, you know we like pictures..

Thanks Wayne. It's about an hour away. Close but not close enough that I could drop in really easily. I Hope to head out there on my next set of days off. I know he's already working on it as he's been messaging me with any questions as he goes along.

Smoky outside! You must live near me, mind you I think all of BC is one big campfire right now.
Don't give up, your doing better than me. I've had my camaro for 16 yrs and driven maybe 4 of those years between teardowns and mods.
Come to the realization it doesn't have to be perfect, just need to get out and drive!

Yes all of BC is very smoky. And I just found out yesterday that I'm being deployed to go work the fire zones for a week starting next Saturday so will be even closer to the smoke. Oh well will be good money for the car. Where in BC are you? I'm in the loops.

Update:

It's been a long time since it looked like this

Can't wait to see it with the hood one. Getting pretty excited I must admit.

It looks nice all in one piece! Do you remember what rate and length springs you have on there?

Well said and that is why my 70 Camaro has satin Paint on it. Because I want to be able to lean or heck even lay on the fender and not worry about it

Thanks guys.

A picture I took when I went to check out the car. Going to pick the car up on Wednesday if I can get my buddy's truck.

The car is back home

It still needs quite a bit of work in the body. The gaps need to be finished up and lots of block sanding, etc. Main thing I wanted to do was get it back looking like a car and now it does. I know that all the panels fit and we won't have any issues when it comes to getting it painted. Next up is to try and get as much done on the car as I can with mechanical, interior, etc. Have already been pricing out parts haha. Order coming soon
