Thanks guys, I went by my buddy's shop (He will be painting the car ) to ask him to let me have some filler to finish it up. He says sure as he does with anything I ever need. He takes it fills it we start bull****ting, then he tells me to wait til it hardens, then he sand it down. I told him I'll do it he says it needs another coat put it on and sands that. He mentions he forgot to eat so I offer to go get him lunch. I get back it's all sanded and primed. He tells me to wait 3-4 day then water sand it with 600. Then he says bring it back and we'll paint it if you want.

Here's how it came out.

All it cost me was a cheese burger and a coke, a small one at that.

I'm going to see if he has some pictures of the custom work he did. It was amazing. When I had the 73 Z/28 he was going to put a worrier like Zena with a sword holding a Cobra she killed on the center of the L88 hood in the center. We never got to do it.

While I was on lite duty from the Doc, I started working on the dash. I have a billet gauge panel from Eddie MotorSports (now sold at TthePartsPlace) and a factory style dash panel that you need to use the Metron part in. The factory style part gets cut up and most of the middle is removed. Then you install the billet piece between the two out side parts of the factory pieces. They give you little clips which I didn't have much luck with. So I put it together and epoxied it in place. Not sure if this was a good idea but it's what I did.
Here are a couple of pics of it together drying.

I made a little fudge near the heater control opening, you can see it in the first picture. I need to try to fix that without making it worst with my shaky hands.

Well it's been a while since I posted Three weeks ago I had some funky growth on my finger remove and it's taking long than expected to work again. But we got a few things done. I installed the temp sensor on my Aluminum Hugh's trans pan and got it on the car. It's the shallow one and it is only as deep as my oil pan on the motor so it doesn't hang down.

I also put in my oil pressure sender for my Auto Meter gauge up top of the motor with this Aeroflow adapter. it's a nice piece.

And here are the two oil pressure senders A.M. to the side and Factory one on top.

Now if they don't leak I'm golden.

Nice work, looks very clean. I like that transmission oil pan too.

Did you know the transmission oil temp and engine oil pressure can be read through the CAN bus? Of course you would need a set of gauges that could interpret that information.

I have a bad habit of trying to get ahead of things most the time I bike myself in the ass like this time. I ended up buying a ton of Auto Meter gauges, ultra lites to use I like them but I also like the Dakota digital gauges. Which probably would be able to be used with the can bus system.

SpeedHut gauges have a CAN buss setup. plug it into the DLC and it pulls RPM, speed, coolant temp, oil pressure, oil temp, ect. pretty cool setup.
