Default Billet Specialties wheels

You might see if they have an option to clean the splatter and re-polish the back after welding. I would not purchase these wheels again without some quality control in this area.
In the construction of the wheel, in order to ensure proper weld and wheel strength, only the face of the wheel is shielded. The back-side of the wheel needs to remain open for welding purposes. For this reason, there is the potential to have weld splatter beyond the seam weld. Billet Specialties offers to polish the back-side of the rim / reverse polish for $50 per wheel. The labor and process is very intensive once the center is in place, hence the fee.
