Get the porting tools out and go to work on that 12a/13b. Those little rotarys scoot with a port job.
Rob, here's an odd thing I noticed about this track day, somewhat after the fact: I didn't smell any race gas exhaust (much unlike the Shelby Club days). I think nearly everyone was using regular pump gas, even though a few cars (like Dave's) were clearly track-specific. BMW seemed to be the most popular among this group, but that's the Bay Area for you . . .

The Rx7, supposedly, will be getting a 5.0 Ford some time soon. We'll see.
