Hey Curtis. I never thought I’d say this but I think my Camaro looks almost as good as yours...

Great cover, I’m glad you posted it. It’s so nice I have to have a plastic cover for the cover...

That is an ultra rare Z28 with factory air conditioning. .

It’s just a clone that sat outside for many years. I dragged it home as a builder. Seller did believe it was a real Z28 and it took some time to convince him otherwise....

Things have been nuts on this and the car has been on the back burner for to long. With a few items off my plate and the overwhelming need for therapy I am working on the car. It's not huge progress, but it's progress and I'll take every little bit I can get these days.

This is pretty much where we left things a few months ago. Jeff has been a great teacher and I can not express how much I have enjoyed building the engine or Jeffs help.

With the crank, pistons and a BTR stage 3 cam installed it was time to install the heads that had a little work done to them thanks to Mike Norris.

Once the heads where torqued to specs we rolled it over and buttoned up the oil pan.

I built up the intake (just set in place for now) and popped the valve covers on it's pretty much ready.

Things tend to get a little busy at Jeffs shop and last weekend was no exception. Jeff adjusted and aligned the windows on a 68 and then turned to the wiring on a 69.

JWCARGUY Improving the world one Camaro at a time.

We took advantage of the extra muscle standing around (people) and got my engine off the stand. I installed the clutch and then we married up the transmission.

In preparation for the install I had to drill a hole in the firewall for the engine harness. I tried to get Jeff to do this. He pretty much laughed and told me to man up. This is what I get for putting the cart in front of the horse and not mocking everything up before paint and body. I'm sure Jim in cringing right now.

Hope to get a bit more accomplished this weekend!

Thanks for looking.
