Does anybody know if Formula 43 is still in business and have contact info? I have a set of their RADS5 rims and would like to get wider hoops to accommodate a wider tire.

If not, anyone know of a company that might be able to assist if I send them my front wheels?

Not sure if it will work but here is the email I used when talking with Tricia a while back [email protected]

At the time I was also looking into widening my hoops. I talked with Forgeline about it too and think it was possible to use their hoops as well. I never confirmed the bolt patterns were 100% the same but I would say reach out to them and try.

Most three piece wheels use hoops from one of two manufacturers. I can't remember if Formula 43 made their own, but I'm guessing they use a standard (40 - If I remember correctly) bolt pattern.

I would second reaching out to Forgeline to see if they can take care of your wheels!

They're local to me. I don't think they've been in business for a while. For what it's worth I believe they use their own rim halves.

THIS ---- because I have two sets of Formula 43 wheels for my yellow track car -- and bent a rim -- and nobody could re-hoop it....

I emailed these guys for hoops last week with no reply yet: http://americanrim.com/

These guys also look promising: http://www.amcrimhalves.com/

If the bolt pattern for the wheel centers can be matched up, I'll just buy an inner and outer hoop for mine.
