Default stainless steel trim

can the stainless trim around the windows,doors,etc. be powder coated? im thinkig of changing the car to black and wondering if this can be done..also would you start cutting up the wheelwells and removing the trim and welding up the holes on a true ss/rs car? i like the look , should i care?... thanks

I think it can be, powdercoating uses an electrical charge to adhere the powder to the part and stainless steel is conductive.
