I should have figured a custom crest would be involved. What a great idea. I'll have to keep an eye out for that type of details in cars I come across.
I did learn recently that the bottom point of the crest should always point towards the valve stem on these cars.

Wow, just wow.
Haven't been here in a while, talked to Marty the other nite and he told me about a couple of must see threads and this one is just wowzers!!
So nice, I don't see very many builds like this over on Renns.
I've been on the hunt for an air-cooled hot rod project as well, something along these lines.
F this is nice.....
I have a 997.2S that is a 74 Carrera throw back wit the ducky, fake Fuchs and the decal and the like. I drive the sh!t outa that car as well as the Camaro.
Cheers, Mike

Might have to get a Jeweler to make one.
Possibly get an inexpensive Chinese one ( they come in a bunch of different color insets - I have one for my 944s2 that I haven't installed yet, but the quality wasn't bad for $22) and then modify it

Chris, I know Its crazy how the blue changes in the light but agree that no matter both are simply fantastic and work with my vision with the rest of the colours and finish details
