Looks great! Nice job on the measuring! I can understand your nervousness with the wheels, that would be an expensive mistake. I'd probably err on the side of caution and just live with that extra .25" of clearance.

Correct, I'll just live with it, because .25" is such a small tolerance that it'll be ok. It would only bring the tire outward towards the quarter panel just a tad bit more to my personal liking. But, I definitely wanted to make sure the tire didn't hit the quarter panel and that's why I went with the measurement I did to be safe for that very reason...I didn't want any rubbing.

Exactly Mike!! Those were my thoughts, therefore I played it safe and cut my number by 1/4 inch and all was well.

Looks good Marcus, I’d leave it alone. It’s going to move around while racing….I mean driving…and you’ll appreciate the .250”
That car is already due for its first wash and you haven’t even started it yet.

My Chevelle is old school... It has a belt driven power steering pump.

Yeah, I'm gonna leave it be Scott. Not a big deal at all. I'm gonna get out in the garage tomorrow and try and put the brakes on if I can stand the heat. Y'all know about these Texas summers...it's way too hot.

Got out in the garage for a few hours the other day and finished up yesterday. Got the brakes installed. I don't think I mentioned either that I'm using Dakota Digitals TPMS system. Not something I needed, but just figured it'd be a cool function to have.
