Thanks guys
Video will absolutely be posted !!

Marty, yes this exhaust has not been easy ... Long tube headers from M&K with the heat exchanger makes it very tight. Also, I absolutely wanted a remote controlled valved system so had to source out the right valves for the GT3 system but this should all work out perfectly now

Titanium tips on the way !!!

Absolutely beautiful build. I owned a 993 for 15yrs and regret selling it every day. Nothing drives like an air cooled Porsche. You’ve got a winner on your hands. Nice job.

So how do the valves work, Steve? Do they have a hole in the center or half moon shaped? I always thought the exhaust valves routed the exhaust through a different path when open.

Buddy ... your a little late to the party !! I've been watching your welds on Insta and I'm impressed my friend

Trey, this is what we used for the valved setup

https://www.pinkbike.com/u/Sheck44/mail/

And then I used the remote system from Soul Performance

https://soulpp.com/product/exhaust-v...ontroller-kit/

Here is a great explanation on these setups ...

Cheers

ok, so it it a bypass system which is what I was expecting. You're system just doesn't have the second set of pipes in place yet. I also completely missed the top port on the muffler. Very cool. Thanks, Steve

Love love love the build.

One small suggestion.

I have wireless electric cutouts on my 701rwhp CTS-V, and I was able to sync the open and close of the cutouts to my OEM homelink garage door opener, so button #1 opens my garage door, #2 opens my cutouts, and #3 closes them.

Not sure if you're looking at an integrated garage door opener in the roof, but it's a small way to make the build better than using a rudimentary remote you have to stash somewhere in the car.

They do offer aftermarket options for installation:

In LA last week to see the car, again it all comes down to the details and the work on this car is exceptional, Nathan's obsession for perfection is clear

Almost there ...
