I should be done with my crimper in about two weeks and you are more then welcome to borrow it.

Default Fuel Vent Bracket (03-20-22)

The bend looks perfect

I originally made the fuel vent bracket using some cheap thin steel.

Test fitting to make sure it works.

Time to make it out of thicker Steel

Just a little bit more.

Comparing it to the mock up.

Default DEI Fuel Line Wrap (03-23-22)

Since I am content as to where I ran the fuel line it's time for me to install the DEI Fuel Line Wrap and tape off the ends with there really strechy tape. Yes, I know stretch isn't a word.

You can barely see that the right side is taped.

Ron Wilson was kind enough to send me this firewall plug so I can block off the E-brake cable hole.

I filled the back with sealant which allowed me to install this by myself.

My OCD wouldn't allow me to drop off the bracket till I rounded the corners. So I pulled out my bench grinder and completed the task.

No it's not an illusion the holes are not parallel.

I also received these very nice Billet headlight switch knobs which I will be sending out to get anodized

Default Passenger Side Fender is coming home ( 03-24-22 )

( 03-24-22 ) I am finally bringing the passenger side fender home.

Thankfully I labeled every bag.

Me and ARP are really good friends.

(03-25-22) Here goes nothing

(03-26-22) Opps, I forgot to install the blower motor close out panels so off to Eastwood.

The originally DSE Closeout panel which I am not using has 5/16'' slots and the new one does not !!!! (( insert a ton of profanities here-))

So this sucks !!!

Apparently on the new panel I received from DSE the slots are way smaller and of course I already have 5/16 nutserts in the firewall and of course the panel is painted.

Luckily one hole lined up and I was able to locate all of the area's that need to be opened up.

I spent about an hour filing and test fitting.

Getting closer.

A little touch up paint.

A few feet of strip caulk.

Since four of the bolts are not visible I didn't use ARP bolts.

Fender is going back in hibernation since I want to tighten the bolts one more time before I install the fender.

Default Steering Shaft Install ( 04-01-22 )

One of my daughters friends brother likes working on cars so he offered to help. So we started working on all the projects that require having a second set of hands.

The first project we worked on was the steering column & steering shaft.

Apparently Remy likes him.

Default Vintage Air Mag Daddy Magnets (04-02-22)

Moving on to the next project.

Because of my day job I learned about the Mag Daddy Magnets and how useful they can be.

You can barely see them in the picture but they are holding up the wires and you can still move them around till you figure out the final layout.

Default Wilson Muscle Car Optima Battery Tray (04-06-22)

I re-installed the WMC Optima Battery tray so I could work on the wiring going to the Battery.

This is the support rod that is used when you are using the Anvil Carbon inner fenders.

That is kind and awesome of you, Marty! I am going to check with a local parts store that I heard makes hydraulic lines. If they do not, I may take you up on your offer. The next closest facility is about an hour to hour and a half away.

As organized as your garage is, I'm sure it is tucked away neatly somewhere. You will definitely find it in the last place you look.
