Great update Mark, JA is coming along nicely! Great thought put into the service-ability of this car. Lets face it, they all break and wear stuff out...build them to take apart and put back together as easily as possible.

Mark, did you have thicker intercooler bricks on Hellfire, or is this an entirely new thing you guys and C&R are trying out?

This motor, while running e85, should make more power than hellfire...right?

The bricks are new. We are flowing 1700 CFM of air so the stock bricks are a restriction. Brian Thomson has already built a engine on E85 with stock bricks that cleared 1000 HP so this engine should do as well and probably better.

The bricks are stock width.

I plan on using a ZR-1 intercooler pump and 3/4 in lines as short as possible. That is still the lightest and highest flowing pump I have found. (Not cheap though). The new Z06 LT4 has a cool expansion tank I will place in the system. It adds volume and an air chamber for expansion.

Thanks Mark I was talking about the intercooler in front of the radiator. I'm going to use the Stewart pump programed by Lingenfelter for my LSA. My intercooler is the one C&R make for the 69 Camaro but I had them put 1" connections on it to match the pump. The cooling brick in the lid will still be factory size.

The heat exchanger for the blower is 27 mm thick using the Denso high efficiency core.

The rad is 48 mm Denso high effciency core. Nice parts and in our testing the better cores are worth about 15% better heat rejection.

I looked at the Sewart pump and chose the lighter Pierburg pump from the ZR-1. Two of the C-7 Z06s would also work well.
