Need help,looking to buy a big chevy. Shafiroff race engines or Bill mitchell any feed back on these companys

Shafiroff the only way to go.Great exprince and quality,but no cheap you get you pay for.

I've spoken to their tech guys and they know their stuff.

You are on the right track, I would say Shafiroff. I would avoid "GMPP" engines as I hear they have been having some quality control issues with some of the shops that they subcontract to build their engines. Never heard a bad word about either Shafiroff or World though.
