New truck purchase

Hey guys,

I’m in CA and looking to buy a new Sierra 1500 3.0 Duramax before the new year and willing to buy from near by states like AZ and NV as I’m finding better deals.

The question I’m trying to get answered without any luck, is there any difference in hardware, software and warranty on a truck sold in the various states? If I were to buy one outside CA would I have a emissions issue in CA?

I’ve also noted A truck destined for CA will have YF5 emissions code on the build sheet and the ones in other states “might not” but have seen a couple in AZ that do.
