It’s funny how metallics flip, from sun to shade, from dark streets, to under city lights…you never know what it’s gonna do. My Chevelle is GM Silverado silver and we added a tad more pearl to it. It turns to a light blue hue in city lights at night. I know I’ve mentioned it before here Jody, but check out GM Brownstone Metallic before you lock in a color….and body lines enhance every color also. What’s ugly on a 70’s wagon is fire on a cool car…not that 70’s wagons aren’t cool.
It was available on silverados. It almost turns a shade of grey in the evening shade and city night lights. I TOTALLY regret not going brown on mine. If I could repaint it, it would be Brownstone.

I've always liked your car Scott, and silver was always a backup safe choice as I think it looks elegant on these Chevelles. I do like brownstone, just waiting for some spray outs to make a final pick.

Getting parts during Covid sucked

Long builds have a disadvantage of too much time to change your mind; new parts hit the market, new ideas hit your brain, etc.
I'm not even done but there are things I'd do differently now. Wish I would have considered a 19" rear wheel/tire combo out back, just for a little more tire height and to fill the fenderwells better. There are billet intakes now that would allow the intercooler to be located in the intake and top that's low enough to clear my stock SS hood. I like the Texas Speed intake I have and the intercooler I chose will work great, but it was a lot harder to fit in the car and to plumb the additional cold side piping.
For the most part I wouldn't make any radical changes to this build, as this one has been in my head for 50 years. Just picking the right color and getting my car back from Painter Jim are my next goals.

I personally think using an external core, not sitting in a 200+ degree manifold, will be way more efficient. Also think the cylinder air distribution in the intake will be much better without the diffuser brick.
