Default Okay so here is Plan "C"

Since the Wagner built motor is going to the Junkyard less a few parts. I am going to be ordering this Motor & Trans
from Speedway Motors and cutting my losses.

Marty,

Wouldnt ot be cheaper to replace broken rings and reseal the engine than buy a new one?

To me (I known Im different) new can just be another train wreak. Do it myself, I know whats going on and who to blame..

We have a saying here about leaking american cars:
If they are not leaking, means that they are out off oil. LoL

No, LS is pretty good keeping fluids in. Old school stuff, not so much.

Just an FYI.

That engine is 24x on the crank reluctor. (Disregard that, I see it was an LS1 to begin with, so 24x shouldn't be a problem) That may or may not play well with your exisitng electronics. It's also an iron block.

You definitely don't need a 102mm throttle body and sheetmetal intakes suck on street cars, especially with an auto and a 102 mm throttle body.

I'm also on the plan of having existing parts freshened up locally. FinishLine can fix that trans for sure and there are a number of competent engine shops around.

Yes, however this will would be the fourth time the engine has been rebuilt.

I have thrown more money at this boat anchor and I just can keep doing it.
