Nice work. If the 305 in my C10 wasn't wounded, I would be keeping it. It moves the truck and sounds good. Don't need much more than that to enjoy the drive.

Now that the suspension, interior, wheels, transmission (rebuilt with hardened internals to withstand up to 500 hp), etc., are where I want them to be at this point, I am now focused on the engine aspect of things. I have thought about a cam swap also, but then you get into the reality of how much do I try to do with the 305 versus just waiting and doing a complete engine swap in the next few years. (I have a son about to start college next year and a daughter in competitive dance...).

My wife and I went through the competitive dance deal with our daughter. It's a BIG commitment both financially and time-wise. Lots of fun though.
