So after a couple of days with the bumper kicking my butt, I moved into the interior. Getting ready to install the Vintage Air system, the new dash and Dakota Digital gauges, and determine where to mount the ECM, DD module and PSI harness components.

I had seen pictures on Ironworks page of the Chevelles he is building, which are so impressive. Tried to copy the bar that he runs behind the dash to mount some of these components.

I temporarily installed an old Malibu dash that I had, to check fitment.

Moving on, I then installed the new SS dash, with the gauges so that I could determine component mounting.

Made the ECM mount, then found the mounting spot on the dash bar, tacked it in so that I could check fitment and find the spot for the DD Module. Then removed the dash and set up the DD wiring.

Next was to set up the mounting of the Vintage Air Evap box. I did not want to run bolts through the firewall, as it has already been smoothed. Made some plates with studs welded in so that I could weld those to the inside firewall and mount the unit.

I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your father-in-law Congratulations on the birth of a new grandson.

The progress on the car looks fantastic and looking forward to more updates

So keeping in line with what has been completed. Made a bracket for the American Autowire Hwy 22 fuse block. Got it mounted in the car close to where the original fuse block went through the firewall.

Then moved on to the clutch resorvoir to finalize the mounting and the routing from under the dash of the Malwood clutch system.

Next up, was making a throttle pedal mount, and getting it mounted in the car. From there, I moved to the PSI ECM wiring going to the firewall plugs. Yes, the wife let me use the kitchen island to lay everything out. She is a jewel, as I am sure everyone's here is as well.

Next comes routing the wiring under the dash. Bought some magnets for band ties that seem to be interesting for the routing. More on that later.

Thanks for looking.
