sometimes it sucks to have work and not be able to do things on your own vehicle..

but i guess if i said the opposite i would be in a world of hurt with the bill collectors.

I hope everyone is happy and healthy during this holiday season...

This past weekend I was able to get some time on my scout finally.

Removed the rear axle and sent it and several other parts out for snad blasting.
It was painted to match my old truck, but now that it’s going to be painted red, its needs stripped down, epoxied and prepped for paint.

Been slowly drilling out the spot welds on the new door jambs as id like to start getting them positioned in place for my giant pipe dream..

I have not figured out a radiator. Id like to use a GM truck like 2010 or so radiator and fan assembly. I’ll be running the engine on a P59 computer, so I can’t get into the super cool PWM fans that all the late model stuff is using. That one single camaro fan is like 65 amps and 5500 CFM at full pull… that’s an amazing amount of air.

The street rod left last week, and were finishing up a vintage air install on a 69 camaro.
A real nice 65 chevy II with a 540ci bbc, came in for some brake work as well.

If I don’t get back in here in time, I wanted to wish you all out there a Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a bitchen New Year’s to Y’all !!

Well, took the Scout out to a local IH event, and won best in class and best in show.

Then we got invited to be the nationals to compete against all the other winners across the country.

super excited!
