Default b-body spindle on a-body??

Anyone happen to know what track width you'll end up with putting
b- spindles on a 65 chevelle? At the wheel mounting flange. Also what size wheel/tire/back spacing package will fit under these?

Thanks, Doug

i think you need to give marcus at sc&c a call, he can supply you with taller ball joints that give you the advantage of the increaset camber curve without the compromise of using a b-body spindle, but in my oppinion you are better off using an ATS spindle,.. it almost pays for it self before you are done putting brakes on it..

The track width measurement I'm looking for is only for comparison.I am using B spindles on a full custom frame, and since I sold the original I cant measure it up. I need to fine tune my front geometry and I dont have the body mounted and am not sure what size tire I can fit up. I dont think I want to use the wheel mounting surface as a reference for all the front geometry layout.

aah i get it.. honestly wait till you have verything mounted and measure for clearance.. its the ONLY way you can figure out what size rims to use..

Understood.
But will using the wheel mounting surface for layout of the instant center, roll center height, FVSA, etc. be better or worse than using the center line of the rim?
I know the numbers will change. But will maybe 2"-3"/side difference make any changes that would be to far 'off' to live with?

swing arm height and length will not change by moving the wheel centerline out, but the RC will change slightly with offset and tire height changes, and scrub radius will change significantly with different offsets.
