Ok, I have 6.5" speakers I want to install in the kick panels. Should I try to angle them to face the passengers, or just mount them flush? Not sure how much room I will have on the driver's side near the emergency brake pedal. I'm also worried about what to put behind them for sound dampening, and how to keep them dry! It sure looks like the fresh air opening in the cowl goes straight down to behind where I want to mount the speakers. Ideas, advice?
I beleive it is Custom Autosound that makes kickpanels with speaker locations in them. They do stick out some so I don't know how much they interfere with emer brake operation. I think they are listed in the Year One catalog.
