Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Scott from Washington. My project first one is an 80's ford pinto. Plans are tube chassis and SBC. Welcome to the site.
I don't have any experience with the kits from Jegs.

I did however have a friend in the 80's that had a Pinto with a hot little 4 banger that would eat up stock Z28s (305 era). It had one of those 5" stack type air cleaners sticking threw a hole in the hood on the passenger side (Offenhauser intake with a Holley 4 barrel)

I used to LMAO when he would get into it and that air cleaner would torque over.

Good luck with your project.
