Default Lsx in a stock 68 camaro sub

I wanta but a lsx in 68 camaro with a stock front clip,what kinda headaches am i in for.will it work with little mods to it.

There is a lot of information on this topic at LS1tech.com in the conversions and hybrids forum. There is a sticky for lS1 into first gen cars.

We specialize in making it a no hassle bolt in. We make the correct oil pan, engine mounts, headers, accessory drive, T56 install kits, etc. You name it, we have done it.

Cool,nice site I'll try to call tommorrow and talk with someone.I want to do it right but cheap,it's the wife's and she like's the lsx engine,so I'm thinking about a stock ls1 with a carb for now.Well Thanks for info,will be in touch

You mean you don't have to raise and move forward the motor, cut a perfectly good tunnel and build headers like Lue did to project Blue Hair on Muscle Car? Only if he would have used this little thing called the interweb to do some research!! LOL

the amount you spend to convert it to a carb'd engine would be better spent converting the car/harness/fuel system to efi. better gas milage, drivability, dependability, etc. try to get the tranny with the engine and gain even more.
