Default I'm building the chassis!

It's gonna have a 358 Winston Cup SB-2 with a six speed.

Damn nice work. You can see right off that a LOT of thought and preplanning has gone into it. I hope you`ve got some rediculous horsepower planned to make use of that chassis. Marcus

That thing is going to need some serious rear seat modifications.

J/K. Looks great! Love the SB2 idea. Would like to hear specs on it.

I second that, fill us in on the details Mark. Is this yours, or are you building it for someone else? If it's anything like your second gen it'll be a kick-ass car for sure!!!!

Default Someone else!

I'm building it for someone else. It's a roller cammed Winston cup motor with a T-56. The solid liftered cam motors don't last long. They always are a concern to the racers!! It won't have a rear seat! A lot of things on this build I don't agree with. The guy has never built a car like this. Leaving the stock outter wheel house and the quarter extensions in just don't make sense to me building the rest of the car this radical. But everbody wants something different!

Mark,
Are those the actual lower A-arms or will you be building the final parts out of round tube?

Default Lower A's

It will be the same as in the pics. Retangular tubing 1.5x .75!! The rest is not complete yet. Still lack the shock mounts and swaybar mounts. And finished welding.

Default Yes I do!!

I've been working on getting this going for a while. It's tough working a regular job and doing this in your spare time. I've got a small backlog all the time it seems. Tom at Dream Car wants me to do some jobs for them. I belive that will help get it up and going so I can do it full time!! Still love race cars but the mentalitly really gets to you after a while. Maybe have to go back, who knows.

Thanks
Mark
