You guys have it made !
I'll trade you my list of "fabrication" yet to do on the Stang for Columbus.
Stop crying, grab your hand tools and do those "bolt on's" !!

Roger... that really sucks..... How did you not know you bottomed out ? Radio too loud ? lol You'll get it done.... just take your time. Things happen for a reason. Like that $5..... now you can buy yourself a shot
Hope to see both your cars there (paul & roger). The GTO looks sweet !

That sucks!! Sounds like a lot of work. But it stands as a testament that even year old builds or older can have teething problems. In this case, the teeth are fangs, but it'll all work out.

You are right. Compared to others mine is a piece of cake. However a new oil pan has to be fabricated to make sure it does not hang lower then my skid plate.

Bummer Roger, but you always find the best way to look at things. Good Luck...

It could have been much worse! You shut it down in time to save the motor! Let us know how it turns out at Goodguys Columbus!

Little did I know.... The hard part of changing the oil pan was clean up detail. Neither my wife or teenage son volunteered to help clean up the oil spray mess.

I spent hours upon hours wiping down the underside of the car. Bad back and all. I was swallowing aspirin like candy. Tough job but somebody had to do it.

The goat is headed to its first out of state event. We will be at Columbus! This is also our first multi day event and only our 3rd event since finishing the car.

This stuff is BS. Way to much work getting these pro-touring cars ready for an event. I think I'm going to get into rat rides or sleeper type cars.
