Default Allow me to introduce......

Hey guys, it's me again. Allow me to introduce my newest adventure, I named it Papa Smurf, and I'm guessing you can see why. I acquired this 69' a little while back in a straight up trade for a pretty nice 1987 Trans Am GTA that I had. When I first got papa this is exactly how he looked. It sports a rebuilt 400ci Pontiac motor w/ 1969 Ram Air III heads, Comp Cams roller rocker, Edelbrock RPM intake, Hooker headers, Flowmaster 40's, and other little rebuilt goodies. My main attraction to the car was the color, and the interior. But going from a fuel injected 305 in the Trans Am, to all the space you want to work under this hood, I drew a real likeness to it. Anyway here it is. My 1969 Papa Smurf, Lemans. And if I don't end up getting a Nova. My plan is to build a meticulous " The Judge" G-car. I've already taken off that bad fender, and valance. Straightened the rear bumper. And I'm about to pull the motor to do some more detailing. Thanks for looking guys, I really appreciate, and I hope you accept Papa Smurf with open arms.

Wow. I'm really excited about helping you update that car. Glad you joined the club. Papa Smurf arrived at your door as a period perfect typical street machine. I look forward to providing input that will help you modernize it. The before/after pix will be dramatic. Also I kinda like all the chrome LeMans trim with that color. The right set of wheels might help you avoid the whole GTO transformation.

So what's the plan? When do we get started? Where's my breaker bar?

Well the plan for right now is to find a front driver's side fender, and a front valance. I don't like the wheels it has right now, it looks to "common". TO be honest I like the look of a fresh set of Pontiac Rally II's with chrome trim rings.

I want the car to sit low evenly in front and back, and not just the front. I want to keep the Ram Air hood, and I would also like to keep the color, cuz it's got some character. Or go with like a blackberry gloss. As far as the chrome bumper, it's cool, but I wanna set it color match the body ya know?? That's just some things in my head. Any input any of you guys have is surley welcome. And thanks again for the acceptance.......

Yeah baby! Thems the wheels. Like I said, the right wheels (these) would complement the LeMans trim. Or GTO--either way.

Funny things today, I went to the pawn shop today, found a set of original Pontiac Rally II's, in pretty good shape with tires. I brought the tires/wheels on the car now up, and made a deal. SO the rallys are coming home to papa. They should satisfy until I get money for some 18's
