Well, it a long story on the RPM/ProRides deal but to make it short, I started RPM 7 years ago, My friend Mike and his cousin Denny started ProRides a few years back. We at the shop (RPM) finished & built a lot of projects for them. 56 OLDS, finished and fixed what we could on the STARLINER, 33 Speedstar, 37 Roadster, just to name a few. I never really marketed RPM because everyone just knew us as the ProRides name nationally. Locally in Pittsburgh it a different story. The ProRides name was more like a bunch of friends putting a name on their club house than a business. To Mike & Denny it was still a hobby, they both HAD careers not related to the car world, to me and my guys and our families its our life!!! Denny has recently started a new business adventure in the car industry called Collectible Cars by Design. Buying and selling all types of killer cars with a group of investors.... At RPM we build cars for customers, we don't sell cars to people. We are still great friends and we are building two cars for Mike as we speak. Denny still dubs his own projects as ProRides. That is the short story I hope it helps. We have 3 cars that we are planning on busting out in the next month or so, 2 being at Columbus and a model A at Indy in a few weeks. Then we hope to have a great 8 contender at Detroit!!! I hope our projects help tell the RPM/Prorides story and get things straight once and for all. I guess it still wasn't short!!!
At least with a Bed floor you have a chance at Truck of the Year. Apparently trucks have to have bed floors, or so I have been told...
I just hope my truck and your truck are never in the same catagory because that would suck to be beat by a truck with no bed floor. What would i tell my friends!!!

Okay now i understand. Thats cool that you guys still are good friends and it sounds like the relationship wasn't hurt which is usually what happens. Got any pics of that 33 speedster? That is one bad ride!
Well Carter nailed the rendering. He got some time to finalize the rendering and it came out great. So what do you all think. Is the truck going in the right direction? I wanted a clean, simple but yet still aggressive.
Man Carter does some cool stuff. I'll see what I can dig up on the speedstar anything your looking for on it. I have pictures on the complete build.
I just love the stance of those cars. Anything you got i would love to see. You could email me some pics or just post them. Either way would be great. Looking forward to seeing those pics.
I love the look you have going. One thing looks a bit off to me, the windshield trim. I think if you are planning on running the chrome windshield trim (I like it and think it breaks up the blue), you may consider running the thin chrome trim around the two grille openings and possibly even chrome headlight bezel trim, I think it would tie it all in to the chrome windshield trim. If you disagree your not going to hurt my feelings though, just thought I would say what stood out! Awesome build, and great rendering by Carter (again)!
