I spent a few hours in the garage tonight mainly working on plumbing the AC. Basically figuring out the cleanest way to route all my hoses and wiring and what fittings and extra hose I needed to order. I think I have a solid game plan that should look clean but easy to work on.

I also went down and picked up my condensor brackets. They turned out perfect. I designed them so they wouldn't restrict any air flow to the radiator but only required two bolts to hold in the condensor. It's 1/4 aluminum which is probably a little over kill but I plan on some pretty sustained high speed in this car. They will get the krylon touch so they disappear and more appropriate hardware.

T, when is the new mondo radiator suppossed to show up? Please get pics of it also---looking forward to the setup of the oil cooler portion of that. Are you plugging in a power steering cooler as well?

The oil cooler portion will be a piece of cake. I'm using an internal 12 plate heat exchanger with 12AN connections. I decided to go this direction mainly due to packaging. The engine t stat will regulate the oil temp and require no oil stat. The jury is out whether it will cut the chase on extended road racing. With the new aluminum block, double pass radiator, 13 qts of semi synthetic oil, I feel it will be plenty for what I intend to do with the car. I have no current plans for a power steering cooler but there will be room now if I end up needing it. I've got the turn 1 pump now that's under driven at high rpm. If I have problems, it wil get one.

Work out a deal with V/A, send them the specs to those brackets, and they give you a cut of the profits.

Yours is so much better.

The brackets look great, with easy access to them.

The brackets cost about $60 so I doubt Vintage Air would be to excited about the venture. As soon as I get the radiator, I'll post some pics. Should have it in a couple weeks.

Jason over at Pettis Performance sent me some photos today. He's right on schedule.

In the first two photos the block is being decked and bored.

The factory lifter brackets bosses have been removed so he can install screens.

Here is the port work. The chambers, intake, and exhaust ports have been reworked.
