You cant paint springs as it changes their rates. Its been said painted coils raises the rate by up to .0000001 pds. That something u will feel going through the trailer park. Its up to you if u want a rough ride.

Also make sure your marked them left and right, if you switch them the car will turn easier to one side. Happen to me, twice

Iam well aware of the consequences of painting my coils. Although i know the ride will suffer I believe the trade off for the "bling" factor is more than worth it. I appreciate the insight though

We got a lot of the little brackets and stuff cleaned, sanded and painted gloss black. We should have most of the front end stuff done soon so we can start reassembly. The transmission is in the shop getting a rebuild so it and the engine should also go in within the next few weeks if all goes to plan

First I was all like, why all the red spots? But I see you filled the injection gates so it's be smoother looking.

Nice touch. Like how this project is coming along.

Finished up the intake today and got the control arms back after blasting and having the bushings pressed in. Tomorrow primer for everything and Friday paint/clear.

Looking good Brian. I'm interested to see how the 5.3 performs. Should be a stout little motor.

I noticed in a few posts back there was a camaro nose in front of the fresh subframe. Is yours getting repainted? What happened?
