Well - -the truck made it to and from Columbus with no major issues. I had an issue with a rear airbag that was completely my fault, but the folks at RideTech fixed me up. The truck has around 750 miles on it now and aside from a few little things that need addressed it is doing really well. I'm not happy with my fuel cap (too hard to remove). I'm going to replace it with a better one. I need to get my Vintage air unit to drain a little more easily...it wasn't draining as well as it needed to and was freezing up - - - -- I should be able to just route the drain hose a little differently and be good to go.

Thank God for Vintage Air on a weekend like that - -- It was insanely hot!

I really enjoyed seeing everyone. I'm not sure if I'll make it to the Street Rod Nationals with the truck, but I will definitely be at Indy Goodguys.

I'm bummed that I didn't get to see you and your truck at Columbus, but I hope to be able to see it in the future.

You should be proud of your efforts.... you have an AWESOME truck!!

Saw your truck as you know from the pics. Turned out great, loved the look of it and how well it turned out.

I made the trip down to the NSRA Nats, but only for Friday. I had to be back home for some family events over the weekend. We got rained on quite a bit in the morning, but then it cleared up. All-in-all the truck continues to do well. I have almost 1,000 miles on it now and only have a few small things that I want to tinker with.

I'm debating on putting it on the market to help fund a shop/garage at our new house (and my next project). That's what I get for moving farther away from Dad!!! In a way, I would hate to sell it, but I have another project in the waiting and can't afford to keep it and build the next project - -wish I could!

If I keep it, I'll probably put power steering on it over the winter. I have the frontrunner bracket for the pump, so it will basically just be a pump, new belt and a new rack and pinion - - should be an easy swap.

I saw the truck when you were pulling out of the show, and looked really good when you drove by the tent.

I head someone yell, but couldn't see who it was. Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk. We were trying to get around to see as much as we could since I could only make it for one day.

Had a good weekend up at Indy with the truck - --- got picked for the "Soooo Low" award. Got a pretty nice parking spot in the winners circle too....right under the sign!
